Featured Peacebuilding Group: Harford County, Maryland Community Mediation Program

My first involvement in community mediation was helping establish the Harford County (MD) Community Mediation Program in the early 1990s.  I served on the commission that oversaw the program for nearly 10 years.  As a bit of “throwback” Monday, this week’s Featured Peacebuilding Group is the Harford County Community Mediation Program.  There are nearly 500 community mediation programs around the U.S.  To find the program nearest you, contact NAFCM.

The program was recently featured in the Baltimore Sun for starting a mediation program in the local schools.
