The Peace Journalist: April 2017 Edition – “The Resistance”

Below is the April 2017 edition of The Peace Journalist published by the Center for Global Peace Journalism at Park University.  I read this cover to cover!  This month’s edition focuses on “The Resistance.”  This is a MUST read for all students studying peace, conflict, social justice, and international education. The Peace Journalist is dedicated to disseminating news and information for and about teachers, stu­dents, and practitioners of peace and conflict sensitive journalism. The next edition of The Peace Journalist is October 2017. Submissions are welcome from all. They’re looking for submissions of varying lengths (300-1500 words) detailing peace journalism projects, seminars, courses, and proposals, as well as outstanding examples of peace reporting and academic work in the field. They encourage you to send photos as well. The copy deadline is September 3, 2017.
