National Career Development Day!

Today is National Career Development Day! The day was established by the National Career Development Association to advance career awareness.

This 2011 USA Today article offers some suggestions on how to advance your job prospects.

If you are considering a peacebuilding, development, humanitarian or conflict resolution related career, consider purchasing my book Peace Jobs: A Student’s Guide to Starting a Career Working for Peace. I will be speaking on peacebuilding careers via Zoom at the University of Hawai’i/Manoa on November 24. Register here (it’s free!).

Make the most of your career and the many ways you can contribute to making the world a better place!
