Featured Peacebuilding Group: Association for Conflict Resolution

For this week’s Featured Peacebuilding Group, I’m sharing about the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR).  ACR is the largest association of conflict resolution professionals in the U.S.  I’ve been a member since the early 1990s.  Many of  the professional mediators working in the field today are members.   For newbies coming into the field, ACR is a great introduction.   ACR’s annual conference brings together conflict professionals across various sectors.  I’m a member of the Education, Research, and Training Section of ACR.  At the upcoming October conference in Pittsburgh, PA our section will sponsor a day of activities for local youth.
