Featured Peacebuilding Group: Outward Bound Peacebuilding

I spent this past weekend at the annual community college program that I direct.  We hosted a number of organizations that focus on peacebuilding, one of which was Outward Bound Peacebuilding.  I’m featuring this group this week.  Having never experienced outward bound, I was not very familiar with the group, which takes the model and places it in a peacebuilding context.   Ana Patel, the ED, engaged the seminar to exercises they use with their participants. For me, learning by doing is the best way to develop as a peacebuilding practitioners.

If you are looking to bring peacebuilding to your staff or students, consider having this group provide you with ideas and activities that can make the work real!
