In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I have posted a link to his “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” probably the most instructive and critical piece he wrote during his lifetime.  It was written in response to criticism by the Protestant religious community to his activities in the city in the spring 1963.
