Forage Center Announces 2018 Coastal Hope Graduate Simulation on Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Practices, Fellsmere, FL, USA, 3/15 to 3/18/18: Registration closes 2/2/18

If you are a graduate student and interested in building  your capacity for working in crises where humanitarian and peacebuilding responses are needed, consider attending the Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education’s annual Coastal Hope (previously know as Atlantic Promise) program in Fellsmere, FL, USA March 15-18, 2018.  The fee is $625 for enrolled graduate students which includes all meals and lodging.

Students Train for Perfect Storm, Tulane University, 5/24/17

With the serious concern and preparations related to Harvey and Irma, this piece about the Forage Center’s Atlantic Promise  (now called Coastal Hope) exercise last March is timely.  The center is glad that students from Tulane participate every year!

This coming November (2-5) the Forage Center will offer the Coastal Hope program in Fellsmere, FL.  If you are interested in attending, register here.  And in March 2018, the exercise will be held again.

Forage Center Video on Atlantic Promise/Coastal Hope Experience

The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education, Inc. recently developed a short video on it’s field simulation in Florida.   It is designed to give potential enrollees a sense of what takes place during the exercise.
