HELPFUL APPLICATION REMINDERS |
Leave Approval Form These projects often take place during the U.S. school year. In order to ensure that selected applicants are able to spend 2-6 weeks away from their schools carrying out the project, applicants are required to submit a Leave Approval Form (found in section VIII. of the application) signed by the head of school (or another official authorized to grant leave) where they are currently employed. Start the discussion with your school’s administration as soon as possible! Two Professional References Enter the email addresses of your direct supervisor and a trusted professional reference in section IX of the application. Be sure to follow up with them to make sure that they complete the references before the application deadline (October 15, 2021). Note that you will not be able to submit your application until these references are submitted on your behalf. Reach out to them today!
