The International Day of Peace (IDP) is Friday, September 21. The IDP offers us an opportunity to consider how we are advancing peaceful coexistence in our lives, our communities, and the world.
If you are an educator, what are doing with your students on 9/21? If an individual, what peacefulness are you encouraging in your own life or that of others?
Here are some links to find out more about the IDP. I would be interested to learn about what you plan on doing! In my own case I will be part of my NGO’s humanitarian and peacebuilding simulation, teaching about ways of engaging lessen suffering and promote peace.
