Featured Peacebuilding Group: Students Together Assisting Refugees (STAR)

High school students can be important agents of positive change.  I was approached by the Centreville (VA) High School Chapter of Students Together Assisting Refugees (STAR) about helping the group find a refugee community to work with.  They are looking to set up clothing drives and other means of helping refugees.  Helping those impacted by war and natural disaster feel comfortable and succeed in the U.S. are important objectives.  I am featuring STAR as this week’s Featured Peacebuilding Group.

If you are interested in helping out the STAR chapter in Centreville, VA, please let me know.
