Featured Peacebuilding Group: National Peace Academy

For this week’s Featured Peacebuilding Group I want to give a “shout-out” to the National Peace Academy (NPA).  NPA is a non-profit educational organization and NGO that seeks to address today’s unique social, political, and ecological challenges by preparing individuals and institutions with knowledge and skills to take action to make our world a better, more peaceful place.  NPA hosts programs for educators, the general public, and students on peacebuilding practices.  I’ve been fortunate over the years to work with visionaries such as its current president Kristin Famula and Dot Maver, one of NPA’s original founders.
