With the serious problem in the U.S. regarding gun violence, we need to continue to press the make changes in the law to curtail the availability of firearms, particularly around children. My colleague Elika Dadsetan shared with me the work of the LA based IHERC: International Health & Epidemiology Research Center which works to advance public health strategies in limiting gun violence. I am a career coach, consultant, and head of a not for profit - the Forage Center - that offers humanitarian education training. I also teach at George Mason University and Drexel University.
