The Humanitarians: Pilot Episode

A little humanitarian humor!  This is the pilot episode of the sit com The Humanitarians. It is a 30-minute comedy series about the exploits of a group of idealists trying to save the world — one unwanted T-shirt at a time. It’s a humorous look at non-profits, altruism, and the crazy things we do to try and make a difference in the world. The show takes place at the NYC headquarters of SWEDOW (Stuff We Don’t Want), a tiny non-profit whose purpose is to collect Stuff We Don’t Want (used t-shirts, ugly dresses, holy sneakers?) from wealthy Americans and ship it over to Poor People in Africa. This turns out to be a pretty bad solution to poverty — but it’s the thought that counts, right?

I don’t know what the status of the show is now.   But you can watch the pilot by clicking here or below.  Now where is Malawi again?
