If your interest in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and transitional justice makes us believe that the new ICNC call for proposals for case studies that intersect civil resistance and peacebuilding would be of interest to you and your colleagues. We would appreciate it if you could share. Please see the call below.
Call for Proposals for Case Studies on Civil Resistance and Peacebuilding Strategies
The International Center on Nonviolent Conflict invites interested authors to submit proposals for writing case studies on the interplay of civil resistance (CR) and peacebuilding (PB) strategies. The case studies are expected to refer to the analytical framework developed by Veronique Dudouet in the ICNC Special Report “Powering to Peace: Integrated Civil Resistance and Peacebuilding Strategies” and to provide illustrative and specific examples from conflict events to demonstrate how civil resistance and peacebuilding strategies worked together or separately in four identified phases of violent conflict: latent; overt; settlement and post-settlement.
The proposal submission deadline is October 4, 2017. For more information about the call, criteria, honorarium and the online application visit: https://www.nonviolent-conflict.org/call-proposals-case-studies-civil-resistance-peace-building-strategies/
