Today is World Refugee Day, 6/20

Today is World Refugee Day.  The day is focused on drawing attention to nearly 65.6 million people  who are displaced worldwide.

A recent article in the Washington Post (“Imagine yourself as a refugee. That’s what nudges Americans to take action on refugees’ behalf”) indicates that empathy is a critical element for Americans in wanting to help those who are displaced.
