Americans Have Positive Views of Community Colleges, Community College Daily, 5/11

By: David J. Smith, May 11, 2017

Last week I shared a piece (“Few Americans Have Confidence in Higher Education Survey Finds,” Times Higher Education, 5/1) that looked at the views of Americans of higher education: only 30% of liberals and 5% of conservations had faith in higher education.  This piece looks specifically at community colleges in a nonpolitical context. The views are very different.

If you are exploring developing a peace and conflict program, take a look at my list of community college initiatives.
