Homes Not Borders Resettlement Event, June 15 Zoom

I hope you can join me and our friends from ReactDC, Welcome.Us and Welcome Corps for much needed Zoom Panel we are calling Refugee Resettlement 101 on June 15 from 7:30-8:30pm.

We hope to answer all your questions as to the state of resettlement and the new avenues for refugees/asylees via Private Sponsorship and Humanitarian Parole. We also will definitely include ways for everyone to get involved. Please spread the word and RSVP HERE for the panel today!

…And remember this panel is part of HNB’s Week of Action leading up World Refugee Day on June 20th. So please check our website Week of Action Landing Page for more ways to get involved. We especially NEED VOLUNTEERS to help move furniture on Wednesday June 14th from 10-2pm (Moving Sign Up), and to help set up two homes on Saturday June 18th from 9:30-1:30pm – one for an Afghan family of 4 (Afghan Set up Sign Up) and one for a Congolese family of 6 (Congolese Set Up Sign Up).
